Every release, newest first. Stagehand updates itself — or choose Check for Updates… in the Stagehand menu.
Stagehand 1.1.0 Latest
NewA dress rehearsal the first time you open Stagehand. It plays a whole show in ten seconds on a model of your Mac, using the apps you have open, so you see exactly what will hide and come back before anything real changes. Run it again from the menu bar icon's right-click menu or Settings › Stage.
NewBring Everything Back, the emergency exit. It ends the show, turns every switch off and puts everything back, and works even without a license. Find it on the right-click menu, at the foot of the dropdown, in the Show menu, with ⌃⌥⌘B or at stagehand://restore.
NewA guided Do Not Disturb setup. It finds each of the two shortcuts and copies their names for you. Then it tests them, turning Do Not Disturb on for a moment and off again, and says whether yours report a Focus you'd already set.
NewA clear list of what starts a show by itself and what needs a manual start (Safari, FaceTime and SharePlay, the Screen Sharing app and AirPlay), with the ways to start one.
NewRight-click the menu bar icon for a short menu: Bring Everything Back, Raise the Curtain, Dress Rehearsal, Run Sheets, Settings and Quit.
NewRecorders can now tell Stagehand they're about to record, so the stage is set before the first frame.
ImprovedWhile a share you stopped by hand is still running, the dropdown now says it won't restart until the share ends.
ImprovedRun sheets record a Bring Everything Back, including the switches it turned off.
